Edit Campaign

Formsy provides the capability to make certain updates to a campaign, even after it has been launched. While there are limitations on the types of changes that can be made, this functionality can be beneficial in situations where adjustments need to be made to ensure that the form remains effective and meets the needs of its users.

  • Go to Campaigns page.
  • Click on the     icon.
  • Click on the Edit,and then click on the Next.

Updating a campaign after launch​

The form builder area displays all the widgets that were selected prior to launching the form.

  • Click on the widget you want to modify:

    • With the Rating Widget, you can update the label, alignment, and image URLs to customize its appearance and position within the form.

    • With the Textfild, MultilineText and Checkbox widgets, you can update the label and alignment.

    • The Checklist and MultilineText widgets allow you to update the label, alignment and option label.

    • With the Static Text, you can update the text.

    • The Image Widget allows you to modify the source, alt text, and caption..

  • Click on the Preview button. You will be redirected to the Preview Campaign page, where you can preview your campaign in 📱 mobile or in 🖥️ desktop view.

  • In case you wish to make any modifications to the form, you can click the Back button. Otherwise, you can proceed with updating your campaign by clicking on the Next button and then the Update Campaign button.

  • You will be redirected to the Campaigns page, where you can see your campaign live status.

In addition, you have the option to customize the background color of the form as well as the button text, text color, and color.

However, once a form has been launched in Formsy, it's not possible to add, remove, or reorder widgets, update campaign name or destinations. It's therefore important to thoroughly review the form and make any necessary adjustments before launching it to ensure that it meets your requirements.

Updating a campaign before launch​

If your campaign has a Draft status, it means that you have started creating the campaign but have not yet launched it. In this stage, you can modify certain aspects of the campaign, such as the campaign name, form widgets, and destinations. However, please note that you cannot change the campaign type at this stage.
